If you smell gas (a distinctive sulfur-like odor deliberately added to LPG to alert you) inside your home, act quickly and calmly following these steps.
First: don't ignite anything. Don't flip light switches, don't use your phone inside the room, and don't light a match or lighter — any electrical spark or flame can ignite leaked gas.
Second: close the cylinder valve immediately if you can safely reach it.
Third: open windows and doors to ventilate, and get everyone in the home outside.
Fourth: from a safe spot outside, call Civil Defense at 998 if the smell persists or is strong, then contact us to check the cylinder and connections.
Don't attempt to fix a leak yourself or keep using the cylinder until it's been inspected and confirmed safe.
